Introduction to the IFRSF

• The International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation(IFRSF) located in London, UK, is a not-for-profit organization that governs the IASB and its relevant groups(eg. IFRIC and IFRS AC) through the authority of appointment of IASB Board members and budget approval.

Introduction to the IFRSF Support Committee

• Korea increased the amount of financial contribution to the IASCF from 2007 for the purpose of successful implementation of IFRS in Korea and enhancement of our influence and position in terms of IFRS endorsement process. To facilitate the fund-raising activity, IASCF Support Committee (Chairman: Su-Keun Kwak, dean at the business school of Seoul National University) was established on 29 May 2007.
